Midterm I: Wednesday Oct 27
Final (Exam Code X): Saturday Dec 18, 4:00 6:00 p.m.
Homework will be assigned each week, due on Fridays by 2:00 p.m. Late Homework will not be
accepted.
The course grade will be based on Homework (10%), Midterms (25% each), Final (40%),
weighted as shown.
The course will cover the following parts of the text:
Chapter 7 (Fourier series); Chapter 12 (Legendre, Bessel,
and other special functions); Chapter 13 (partial differential equations); and
Chapter 15 (Fourier and Laplace transforms).
