A "cyclotomic array" is an n-dimensional array of numbers with the property that it can be written as a linear combination of lines of 1's running parallel to the coordinate axes of the array and running the whole length of the array. We will discuss the recent result by the speaker and D. Coppersmith (IBM labs) that the sum of the entries of any nonnegative, integer-valued cyclotomic array is a nonnegative integer linear combination of the sidelengths of the array.
