Marden's conjecture for hyperbolic 3-manifolds and 2-convexity

Description
We use 2-convexity, Gromov hyperbolicity, truncating and
drilling hyperbolic manifolds to prove Marden's conjecture that
a hyperbolic 3-manifold with finitely generated fundamental group
is homeomorphic to the interior of a compact 3-manifold.
We mainly use PL-type arguments to accomplish the tasks.
Our idea somewhat overlaps with the recently
announced proofs by Agol, Calegari, and Gabai. However, we do
not use geometric analysis, geometric
convergences, and the end reduction theory.
