We will watch Not Knot, an award-winning movie about low-dimensional topology, in particular hyperbolic knots and links. The action sequences will mainly concern not the knot but what is not knot. So that this viewing will not be for naught, there will be a discussion afterwards.
If time permits, we will watch and discuss Eric Sedgwick's Pretzel, a movie about Heegaard splittings.
