Description
There are interesting links between Random Matrices, Symmetric
Functions, Integrable Systems and Infinite-dimensional Algebras and
Groups. I will try to explain why Fermions, Bosons and maybe even Anyons
are convenient for description of these sytems, how all these connections
help finding probabilities and correlation functions for various
applications such as multivariate statistics(eigenvalue distributions,
multivariable hypergeometric functions), condensed matter physics(e.g.
some quantum spin systems, Quantum Hall Effect theory), random
processes(e.g. random surface growth).
