Description
Singular perturbation theory is a relatively new branch of applied analysis
that is often associated with problems in physics. I will give an
introduction to the methodology of singular perturbation analysis and
demonstrate some of the ways it can be applied to mathematical models in
ecology, particularly spatial victim-exploiter systems.
