The Braid groups B_n are a well-known and studied group which show up in many areas of mathematics. Artin Groups are natural generalizations of Braid groups, and many of the geometric properties of B_n generalize to Artin groups as well. This talk will touch on how properties of Braids generalize to Artin groups, talk about some of their geometric properties, and talk about some special classes of Artin group
