A tunnel number one knot in a closed 3-manifold is a knot whose exterior admits a genus 2 Heegaard splitting. In the 1990's, Mario Eudave-Munoz classified tunnel number one cable knots in the three-sphere. I will discuss his classification and explain how it extends to knots in lens spaces.
