Duality for hyperbolic dynamical systems

In this talk we will describe a way of extending duality theorems from algebraic topology to the setting of hyperbolic dynamical systems. We will start with examples of the dynamics and describe the appropriate type of homology and cohomology theory. A relation between these ideas and hyperbolic groups will also be discussed.
