Description
An orbitope is the convex hull of an orbit of a compact algebraic group $G$ acting linearly on a real vector space. We discuss three different perspectives: convexity, algebraic geometry, and optimization, as discussed in the paper by Sanyal, Sottile, and Sturmfels.
