Description
Maximally supersymmetric field theories have been found to exhibit a
rich algebraic structure at the level of scattering amplitudes. Having
been derived from unitarity and symmetries of the S-matrix, those
properties are unaccessible using Feynmans path integrals. In this talk
I will present novel forms for the N=4 super Yang-Mills and N=8
supergravity actions, which connect to te BCFW recursion relations
nicely. Furthermore, the double-copy property relating N=4 super
Yang-Mills theory and N=8 supergravity will be discussed in the context
of the new forms of path integrals.
