New developments in Normaliz

Normaliz is a computer program for the computation of Hilbert bases of rational cones and the Ehrhart series of rational plolytopes. We will report on the algorithmic innovations in Normaliz that have been introduced in the last two years. A crucial point is the use of pyramid decompositions in connection with the computation of triangulations. Other improvements concern the treatment of simplicial cones.
