Sometime in late 90's, Bill Thurston found an 8-component hyperbolic link whose complement exhibits 336-fold symmetry; the link complement was found independently by Schulte and Weiss earlier. In this talk, we describe the triangulation and the combinatorics of this link complement as well as a few other known/new examples with similar properties.
