Smoothing of Limit Linear Series of Rank One on Metrized Complex of Algebraic Curves

The talk will start with a brief introduction to metrized complexes and limit linear series on metrized complexes of algebraic curves. We will then introduce the question of smoothing of limit linear series and state an effective characterization of smoothable limit g^1_ds on (a refinement of) metrized complexes. This talk is based on a joint work with Luo Ye.
