I'll sketch a simple rigorous proof of the following statement:
Every local quantum field theory on hyperbolic space (=Euclidean AdS space) of dimension d+1 generates conformal field theory on d-dimensional sphere.
The proof is based on a new system of axiom for conformal field theory in dimensions >2. it is not necessary to know quantum field theory to understand the talk.
