Quantum equivariant K-theory and quantum spin chains
Mathematical Physics SeminarSpeaker: | Anton Zeitlin, Columbia |

I will talk about relationship between the theory of quantum integrable systems and the quantum geometry of Nakajima varieties, which was first conjectured by Nekrasov and Shatashvili and then explored by many physicists
and mathematicians. The main goal of the talk is the geometric description of the so-called XXZ spin chain in the context of quantum equivariant K-theory on the cotangent bundle of the Grassmannian. In particular, we interpret Baxter Q-operators and transfer matrices as multiplication operators on quantum tautological classes.
Based on a joint work with P. Pushkar and A. Smirnov.
