Phase retrieval by fixed point algorithms

We first review uniqueness theorems for phase retrieval with a coded diffraction pattern and discuss how non-uniqueness ruins phase retrieval with a plain diffraction pattern.
We then present recent progress in uniqueness issues for ptychography and blind ptychography, which does not assume the knowledge of the mask.
