Positive Grassmannian plays an important role in combinatorics and algebraic geometry. Recently, it was found that there is a surprising connection to quantum field theory and calculation of scattering amplitudes. This lecture focuses on mathematical aspects of this subject and some latest developments. The lecture is as part of the QMAP Amplitudes Summer School.
