Computing convex hulls in the affine building of \(\text{SL}_d\)

Faltings introduced a notion of convexity in the affine building of \(\text{SL}_d\), which describes the relations among a finite collection of invertible matrices over a discrete valued field. We give an algorithm for realizing these convex hulls as tropical polytopes in an ambient tropical space.
