The quantum differential equation (QDE) is a compatible system of equations arising from Gromov-Witten invariants of a smooth variety. We'll discuss QDEs for a family of holomorphic symplectic varieties called resolutions of slices in the affine Grassmannian. In this case the QDE can be identified with the well-known trigonometric Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation. The main goal of the talk is to outline this identification.
