Legendrian knots are central objects in the study of low-dimensional contact and symplectic topology. A powerful modern tool to study Legendrian knots is the Chekanov-Eliashberg differential graded algebra, which is defined using the techniques of holomorphic curves. Augmentations, which are functors of points for the dga, are easy-to-compute and easy-to-compare invariants for Legendrians. In this talk, I will survey through the properties of augmentations, for both old and new, and explain various structures on the space of augmentations.
