Mirror symmetry of Fano orbifolds

Mirror Symmetry constructions have been used in recent years to help classify Fano varieties via their superpotentials, which are period integrals encoding certain Gromov-Witten invariants on the Fano variety. In the smooth case, there is a nice connection to the Gross-Siebert program, which aims to construct geometric mirrors. I will discuss the background of MS for smooth Fanos and the GS program, and hint at what we hope to do for Fano orbifolds i.e. allowing Fanos which are not smooth, but instead have cyclic quotient singularities.
