PhD Exit Seminar: Poincar\'e's Algorithm for the Symmetric Space $SL(n,\mathbb{R})/SO(n)$

In this talk, I will introduce an algorithm based on Poincar\'e's Fundamental Polyhedron Theorem, designed to determine the geometric finiteness of subgroups of the isometry group of hyperbolic $n$-space. Following this, I will propose a generalized version of Poincar\'e's Algorithm for the symmetric space associated with the real Lie group $SL(n,\mathbb{R})$, along with our research on several questions connected to this generalized algorithm.
