The AKLT model and perturbations of lattice spin systems

Description
We develop an analytic perturbation theory for the ground state of a
quantum lattice model, in the case when this model is a relatively bounded
perturbation of a non-interacting system. As the main application, we prove
that a small perturbation of the AKLT model has an exponentially clustering,
gapped ground state.
