Description
I will present the joint work with Tom Hou on \Dynamic Stabil-
ity of the 3D Axi-symmetric Navier-Stokes Equations with Swirl" and
some related equations: I will brief describe the problem on the anal-
ysis of the Navier-Stokes Equations and then will introduce the 1D
approximation of the Axi-symmetric Navier-Stokes Equations and its
global well-posedness. The relations between the 1D model and the
original equations will also be discussed.
