Sempahore is the art of communicating (you might say, 'representing') with flags. In this talk, I will introduce the notions of a flags of a set and flags of a vector space, demonstrate a very F_{un} relationship between the two, and, time permitting, say a few things about flag manifolds and a certain method of generalizing the Grassmannian.
