Thirty years ago, M. Adler and P. van Moerbeke developed a strategy to study the algebraic geometry of integrable systems arising from Poisson commuting Hamiltonians. We apply the procedure on a system with two degrees of freedom discovered by Dorizzi-Grammaticos-Ramani, which is related to an abelian surface with (1:6)-polarisation.
