Description
Spectral data has been used for many years to study Higgs
bundles whose structure groups are complex Lie groups. During the talk
we shall recall these constructions, and extended it to the study of
Higgs bundles for real forms. This new approach to real Higgs bundles
has many applications which, time permitting, we will look at.
