Description
The hamiltonians of two and three particles moving on
d-dimensional lattices and interacting via pairwise short-range potentials
are considered.
The following new results are discussed:
(i) The existence of bound states for the two-particle hamiltonians
depending on the quasi-momentum.
(ii) The infiniteness (Efimov's effect) and finiteness of the number of
bound states of the three-particle hamiltonians and the corresponding
asymptotics for the number of eigenvalues.
