Blowing Up Schemes

We define the Proj of a graded sheaf of algebras over a scheme X, and we give two important examples, namely the projective bundle associated with a locally free sheaf, and the definition of blowing up with respect to a coherent sheaf of ideals. cf. Hartshorne “Algebraic Geometry” Chapter II section 7.
