Ecological communities consist of different types of interactions between species, which impact the community dynamics. Traditionally, models describing these community dynamics ignored evolution of the species that might result in alterations in these interactions. With recent evidence that evolution can have important consequences on the community dynamics, I aim to understand how feedbacks between ecological and evolutionary processes affect coexistence and stability in communities. In this talk, I will mostly focus on how eco-evolutionary dynamics affect coexistence and stability in intraguild predation, which is a specific type of community interaction, and then conclude with preliminary work on more general communities.
