Randomly Sampling Grid Diagrams of a Knot
Student-Run Geometry/Topology SeminarSpeaker: | Shawn Witte, UC Davis |

Random knotting can be useful for studying biological knots and geometric trends of knots. Grid diagrams are used here to generate random conformations of knots to inform a hypothesis about chiral knots.
