Donaldson-Thomas theory is branch of (virtual) enumerative geometry, with a close relationship to Gromov-Witten invariants. I will discuss how DT invariants behave under birational transformations and also a formula (known as the crepant resolution conjecture) in the setting of the McKay correspondence. The latter is work in progress with Beentjes and Rennemo.
