Homological Knot Invariants from Mirror Symmetry: Computations
Student-Run Research SeminarSpeaker: | Elise LePage, UC Berkeley |

In recent work, Aganagic proposed a general approach to categorifying quantum link invariants based on a category of A-branes. I will describe in the detail the two simplest cases, corresponding to Khovanov homology, associated to su(2), and knot Floer homology, associated to gl(1|1). I will give an explicit algorithm for computing link homologies in these cases. I will also briefly describe the generalization to other simple Lie algebras and to Lie superalgebras of type gl(m|n). This talk is based on work in progress with Mina Aganagic and Miroslav Rapcak.
