Quantum dynamics of many degrees of freedom

Description
The Schrodinger equation exactly describes the
dynamics of any quantum system. However, solving it
is practically impossible in case of large number of
particles or complex environment. In this talk I give
an overview on how to approximate the quantum dynamics
by much simpler PDE's in certain limiting regimes.
Semiclassical, low disorder, weak-coupling and
mean field limits will be discussed.
